ARE SPORTS DEALS IN THE WOMB NEXT??

By: Dan Miller

You know that Nike just signed Lebron James, age 18, to a $90 million shoe deal before he played his first NBA game. A few days later, Nike also gave a $1 million contract to 14-year-old Freddy Adu, the soccer prodigy. Now check this out – Reebok just signed 3-year-old Mark Walker as their latest pitchman.

At a mere 21 months old, Mark began shooting baskets. Even though he was in diapers, the result was still nothing but net. With a personal best of 18 straight shots sunk on an 8-foot hoop, Mark practices every day with his dad in the driveway. "It's a God given talent," said Mark. "I'm the future of basketball." (Give me a break!)

There’s a short video clip that shows Mark dropping his 18 in a row. Yes, I actually did watch it – pretty cute. But what are this kid’s chances of exploring any other career path. Is this really a God-given talent and “calling” or am I going to see this kid at 45 when he realizes he’s living out his dad’s dream?

You gotta watch the action.
